Santana Signs For Inter?

The South American blues guitar legend Carlos Santana has denied reports that he is about to sign for Inter Milan for a fee of around £12.5m.
The 68 year old poodle haired fret fiddler is said to be attracting attention from leagues all over Europe as the cream of world football battle it out for the versatile defender.
Current club River Plate have released a statement regarding the matter.
“We have offered Carlos a deal which would make him the highest paid River Plate player ever but he has indicated he believes his future lies elsewhere.”
It’s not the first time a major European club has tried to sign a top name guitarist.
In 1995, Barcelona were locked in talks to sign Brian May but the deal fell through after May failed a medical, and in 1998, Ajax signed Jeff Beck on a three month loan but were unable to secure him on a long term deal.
Teams nowadays seem to be going for lead singers as they appear to be able to make the transition a lot easier.
Wet Wet Wet lead singer Marti Pellow managed an impressive haul of 135 goals in 327 games for Celtic before retiring through injury.
He currently manages Brentford in England.
